Contrast

1.

These rectangular rays show contrast by color, size, direction, you name it. It is very much balanced due to the different ranges of weights of colors. For instance the purple and blue is on both the left and the right so it makes the whole picture look balanced.

Another example of picture of contrast in which these different forms have different colors. I like how the white and black figures are place in the colorful background also. The forms also have different shapes whereas the black form is stable and the white forms are more static.

I'm loving how the contrast is showing within the negative space. The subtraction of some of the rectangles from whatever viewpoint you take, makes the other form appear to pop out. The different blends of value between high contrast and low contrast also tends help the effect of trompe l'oeil.

A nice blend of contrast between the color of the models skin compared to her dress, compliments each other well, especially tying in the streak of light in her hair. This is a definitely contrasting with the color of the background and making this a well balanced photo.

The lines make up a perfect contrast with the two different colors put right next to each other. They are similar to each other in the way they have a shine to them. On the other hand, some of the lines contain reflections of what is presumed to be lights near them while some don't which leaves another contrast.

It's pretty awesome holding a baby but to many people, it is still a mysterious of remembering what happened when we were babies. This may be due to the contrast of age as shown in this picture. Often looking at the smaller details we take alot for granted sometimes. Instead of focusing on the shape or lines this time let's take a minute and focus on the contrast of the entire picture.

One more picture that does not just focus on the lines the contrast between good and evil. The contrast in this picture is more so based on the theme and or focus of this picture. There is a little difference within the size of their wings. As you can see the angel with the black hair has taller wings.

Good blend of colors from what appears to have a unstable type of contrast. It almost looks like the color  jumps out like it is exploding, it also looks like it could possibly have a  tactile texture.

Good example of contrast between picture and drawing. The forms of the birds are also different, whereas the colors tend to go hand in hand with each other.

10. 

I think the contrast of form is definite in this picture as half of his face have been shaped to fit the silhouette of the side of his face. In my opinion this would a pretty crafty portrait to make. I would like to do a poster of me like this one day.
