Texture

Unfortunately all the textures on this blog will be visual texture or implied texture since you can't make the blogs 3d or tactile.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1.

This picture has a natural means of texture by the way this leaf has grown. The patterns on this leaf are spontaneous while the stem itself remains consistent.

2.
These clay models that are lined up gives this a nice texture that neither remains the same or  has a pinpoint direction. It is almost as if the pattern could go on forever leaving this to be a very organic texture.

Had to enlarge it to it's original size so that you could get the full effect of this texture. This texture has a decorative effect as it remains subordinate to it's original shape. Being able to maintain it's uniformity the design could possible be hand drawn.

4,

The texture looks as if it had been printed out and has a mechanical feel to it. I can almost imagine this on a book or as weird form of coded typography.

5.
With the simulation of a texture, these raindrops would make this pattern appear very spontaneous. You have no idea where each swirl is going and it could look accidental.

6.
I love the creativity of popsicle sticks as this texture looks like a river or waterfall. This  also have a decorative format to it which looks very unified.

7.
The implied texture that I am seeing looks very decorative as it is hand drawn and with a precise formation in which each strand of hair is unified to the next. No the strands are not all alike but the texture comes together to form the shape of a cat or dog. The value transitions also play part in making the texture appear more three dimensional.

8.
Hands down this would be one of my favorite tattoos as design on the leg looks very decorative. However peculiar it may appear it is a form of  implied texture.

9.

Another natural texture that looks spontaneous and not precise or regularly repetitive. One of the most awesome things to do is to be at the beach during a sunset and to witness this kind of moment.

10.
Let's finish off with this implied texture of ice that looks very much like it was sculpted. This is spontaneous texture which shape and texture can not be separated.
